One-time support and refund terms.
These terms apply to individual support purchases from Repair Geek LLC. Support purchases do not automatically renew.
The selected support channel, included time, price, and any material scope limitation are shown before payment. A new issue or additional time requires separate approval before another charge.
1. One-time purchase
Submitting the intake form creates a pending request and does not charge the customer. Repair Geek reviews the request and may confirm scope, availability, and the one-time price through an estimate or invoice. There is no recurring subscription or automatic renewal.
2. Included support
Web form support covers one issue with portal follow-up for up to seven days. Live chat, phone, and video purchases include the duration displayed with the selected service and portal follow-up for the same issue. Unused time does not carry forward or create a credit unless Repair Geek agrees otherwise in writing.
3. Refunds
A full refund may be requested when no substantive support has been provided and the request is made within seven calendar days after payment. Once Repair Geek provides troubleshooting, guidance, research, live conversation, a scheduled session, a referral, or another substantive support service, the purchase is nonrefundable. A purchase is also nonrefundable after seven calendar days except where law requires otherwise.
4. Withdrawing an unpaid request
A pending request may be withdrawn from the customer portal before payment or support begins. Because there is no recurring plan, there is no future renewal to cancel.
5. Independent providers
Repair Geek may help identify or contact an independent repair provider with customer consent. The provider remains responsible for its own inspection, estimate, licensing, insurance, availability, workmanship, charges, and warranties.
6. Safety and limits
Repair Geek is not an emergency service. Remote guidance cannot guarantee that property, equipment, a vehicle, or a device is safe to use. Customers should stop when safety is uncertain and contact emergency services, utilities, insurers, or appropriately licensed professionals when needed.
7. Changes and law
The terms accepted for a purchase remain associated with that purchase. These terms do not limit rights that cannot legally be waived. Minnesota law applies to the extent permitted, without limiting applicable consumer protections.
These operational terms should be reviewed by qualified Minnesota counsel before accepting production payments.
